Due to its unique properties, this calfskin is characterized by its marbling effect and semi-matte finish. The leather can be shined, glossed, burnished and even darkened. However, products containing strong solvents or cleaning waxes, such as Saphir's Renovateur cream, should NEVER be applied. Doing so will remove the special patina. All other Saphir Medaille D'Or products can be used without a problem.
